BattleBots

During high school my love of RC cars & desire to build led me to fighting robots. RC controlled hunks of metal meant to outlast their opponent in a 1 v. 1 competition format.

This experience exposed me to fabrication, mechanical design, & testing in harsh environments. By the time I graduated high-school I held certifications in SolidWorks and MasterCAM, allowing me to realize designs using titanium, aluminum, hardened tool steel, planetary gearboxes, and high speed rotating elements (over 30,000 rpm).

Recently while setting up NRECs CNC router I cut some new parts and hit some metal in my garage for fun. RIP HSMworks
