eFoil Conversion

While surfing in Hawaii I watched as one person caught every wave, even those that didn’t break. He had a foil and it was what I then determined my life was missing.

Using 2× 60V 8ah batteries in parallel powering a 4 kW motor with a mudskipper prop mounted to it, I set out on my journey to learn to foil.

My bambu P1S was a work horse for this project printing the mast clamp, prop adapter, and the SUP motor mounts (for testing). Leveraging the 5V & GND off of an unused CAN port on the controller a blower cools a heat sink I added to the 75100 controller.

One feature I don’t see enough on other builds is a PVR (pressure relief valve) so IF your batteries catch fire your sealed box doesn’t become a bomb.
